Challenge 25

25 Asian workers are waiting to be sent into the mission field. You can make it happen!

As we give thanks to the Lord for 25 years of fruitful ministry in Asia, what challenge could be more appropriate than that of sending 25 new Asian workers out into the mission field! To realise this exciting but ambitious vision, we will need your help. Our hope is to support each of these workers for the next two years.

Thanks to a gift from a generous AsiaLink supporter, your donation towards this appeal could be matched meaning your impact will be doubled!*

Meet a few of the 25 workers ready to go into the mission field. Some names and identities have been disguised for security reasons.

PAKISTAN

RAYAN has a heart to reach those suffering exploitation in the brick factories of Pakistan. Running Sunday schools and walking alongside the broken has proven an effective ministry strategy in these dark places, and your support will enable these two men to bring good news to captive workers.

One of our existing partners has been working in the brick factories for the past ten years and has been used by God to plant seven churches in that time. We pray that the Lord will use Rayan just as mightily!

THAILAND

FATIMA came to Christ from a Muslim background and longs to reach out to her own community. Having heard the gospel, she put her faith in Christ and developed a passion for witnessing to her own people group.

She has already served in Bible translation, social media outreach and the discipleship of Muslim–background believers, but her involvement was curtailed during the pandemic. Now, your support will help Fatima give herself fully to this work once more.

BANGLADESH

MONI has an opportunity to work as an evangelist in the north of the country. Your support will enable him to travel around the region, reaching out to people across ten different tea gardens with the good news of Christ.

KAZAKHSTAN

SERGEY currently preaches in his local church and is involved with youth ministry, but his full–time work is preventing him using his gifts more widely. Your support can help him engage more fully in evangelism and discipleship.

JAPAN

KENZO is on a ministry training scheme and relies on a bursary to undertake the course. Your support will enable him to complete his training and get started in ministry among one of the largest unreached people groups in the world.
