Church growth in the remote region of Kashmir in India.

Our longstanding partnership with believers in Kashmir has taken an exciting turn, with new momentum being found in the spread of the gospel. We are thrilled to have received reports of a new wave of believers who have left Islam behind to follow and serve the Lord. These young brothers and sisters are eager to make Christ known in their difficult context and are proving a real source of excitement and inspiration. As a result of God’s activity in the region, there is now a church singing, praying and preaching the gospel in the Kashmiri language. This is probably the only Kashmiri church in the world!

We are pleased to support two workers in the region as they undertake outreach trips and run special initiatives such as sewing and beauty training classes to connect with the local people. We also hope to meet with leaders in the region soon to prayerfully discuss plans for future work here. We praise God for doing so much with the funds you have provided, and ask you to pray that the Kashmiri church would continue to grow in the months and years ahead.
